Target Information

HIPK3 is a serine/threonine kinase involved in signal transduction, cellular communication, and multidrug resistance of tumors. It phosphorylates FADD and negatively regulates apoptosis by promoting FADD phosphorylation.
This kinase enhances androgen receptor-mediated transcription and may act as a transcriptional corepressor for NK homeodomain transcription factors.
