Target Information
Protein kinase A (PKA, cAMP-dependent protein kinase)는 세포주기, 세포 간 신호전달, 기억 형성 및 행동 등 다양한 세포 기능에 관여하는 중요한 신호전달 경로의 핵심 효소입니다.
PKA는 두 개의 촉매 서브유닛(PKAc)과 두 개의 조절 서브유닛(PKAr)으로 구성되어 있으며, cAMP 결합 시 복합체가 해리되어 활성화된 PKAc 단량체가 생성됩니다.
활성화된 PKAc는 핵으로 이동하여 여러 핵 수용체의 활성화에 관여하며, 일부 유전자 발현은 cAMP 비의존적으로 조절됩니다.
인간은 PKAc α, β, γ의 세 가지 형태를 발현하며, α는 대부분의 조직에 존재하고 γ는 고환 특이적으로 발현됩니다.
