Target Information
MAPKAPK2는 생체 내에서 p38 및 ERK 신호 전달을 매개하며, 스트레스 및 염증 반응, 핵 내 수출, 유전자 발현 조절, 세포 증식 등 다양한 세포 과정에 관여합니다. MAPKAPK2는 Ser/Thr protein kinase family에 속하며, p38 MAP kinase에 의해 직접적으로 인산화되어 조절됩니다. Heat shock protein HSP27은 이 kinase의 in vivo 기질로 알려져 있습니다. MAPKAPK2 유전자는 두 가지 서로 다른 isoform을 암호화하는 두 개의 전사 변형을 가집니다.
