Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
SULT1A1 (sulfotransferase family, cytosolic, 1A, phenol-preferring, member 1) is a cytoplasmic enzyme involved in the sulfate conjugation of catecholamines, phenolic drugs, and neurotransmitters.
It contributes to xenobiotic elimination, hormone regulation, and activation of procarcinogens.
SULT1A1 functions as a homodimer and is expressed in brain, liver, skin, and lung tissues.
It may also play a role in the activation of carcinogenic N-hydroxyarylamines, suggesting involvement in carcinogenesis.
