Target Information
PDP1 (Pyruvate dehydrogenase phosphatase catalytic subunit 1) is involved in the regulation of pyruvate dehydrogenase activity. It catalyzes the dephosphorylation and activation of the E1 component to reverse the inhibitory effects of pyruvate dehydrogenase kinases. The enzyme complex consists of catalytic and regulatory subunits.
