Target Information
XPD는 뉴클레오타이드 절제 복구 경로에 관여하는 DNA 손상 복구 메커니즘 관련 단백질입니다. 이 유전자가 암 유발성 질환인 xeroderma pigmentosum complementation group D, trichothiodystrophy, Cockayne syndrome과 관련이 있으며, ATP 의존성 DNA helicase 활성을 가진 RAD3/XPD 아형에 속합니다. 또한 다양한 isoform을 암호화하는 alternative splicing 변이가 보고되었습니다.
