Target Information
MPP3 belongs to the MAGUK (membrane-associated guanylate kinase homologs) family, which interacts with the cytoskeleton and regulates cell proliferation, signaling pathways, and intracellular junctions. The protein contains a conserved SH3 (src homology 3) motif, commonly found in proteins involved in signal transduction. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified; one experimentally supported transcript variant does not encode a protein.
