• Product #31683 has been successfully used in Western blot, IF, ICC, IHC, IP, and FACS applications.
• Reacts with heavy chains of human IgG and light chains common to most human immunoglobulins, with minimal cross-reactivity to bovine, horse, and mouse serum proteins.
• Store protected from light at 4°C. For extended storage, add equal volume of glycerol (final 50%) and store at -20°C.
• Rhodamine Amax = 550 nm; Emax = 570 nm.
• Fluorophore/Protein Absorbance Ratio: A550/A280 = 0.44 (lot-dependent).
• Reconstitute with 1.1 mL distilled water (1.5 mg/mL after restoration).

Target Information

Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins.
They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target molecules and provide enhanced sensitivity through signal amplification.
Secondary antibodies are typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled human immunoglobulins and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) for high specificity and performance.
