Target Information
TTLL12 (tubulin tyrosine ligase-like family, member 12) is a 644 amino acid protein that contains one TTL domain. Among the fourteen TTLL family members that modify tubulin, TTLL12 is the least characterized. It is highly expressed in several metastatic prostate cancer cell lines and considered a potential tumor therapy target. Overexpression of TTLL12 may alter chromosome ploidy, while downregulation affects post-translational modifications of tubulin.
