For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

Voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channels are essential for potassium currents in the heart and central nervous system.

• In the heart, Kv4 channels participate in the repolarization phase of the action potential.
• In the brain, they prevent reverse propagation of action potentials.
  Associated with Kv4 channels are calcium-binding proteins called KChIPs (Kv channel interacting proteins), which modulate channel function.
  There are three known KChIPs:

1. KChIP1 — expressed in the brain
2. KChIP2 — expressed in the brain, heart, and lung; three isoforms (a, b, c)
3. KChIP3 — also known as calsenilin or DREAM, expressed in the brain and testis
