Target Information
Relaxin 3는 신경 펩타이드 신호 전달에 중요한 역할을 하는 Relaxin-like peptide 계열 단백질입니다.
두 가지 G 단백질 결합 수용체(Relaxin receptor 3 및 4)에 결합하며, 주로 뇌의 pons/medulla 부위에서 높은 발현을 보입니다.
특히 dorsal tegmental nucleus의 pars ventromedialis에서 가장 높고, hippocampus 및 olfactory region에서는 낮은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
또한 spleen, thymus, lung, ovary에서도 유의한 발현이 관찰됩니다.
Relaxin 3는 Forskolin에 의해 자극된 cAMP 축적을 억제하며, 반복 투여 시 혈장 TSH 수준을 감소시켜 음식 섭취 조절에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
