PEP-1435 can be used as a blocking peptide with polyclonal antibody PA5-34392.
Target Information
PTPRD is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. PTPs act as signaling molecules regulating diverse cellular processes such as cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation.
This receptor-type PTP includes an extracellular region, a single transmembrane segment, and two tandem intracytoplasmic catalytic domains. The extracellular region comprises three Ig-like and eight fibronectin type III-like domains. Studies in chicken and fly suggest PTPRD plays a role in promoting neurite growth and regulating neuronal axon guidance.
