Background
EPDR1은 ependymin 계열에 속하며, protocadherins 및 ependymins과 유사한 세포 접착 분자군과 구조적 유사성을 갖는 type II 막단백질입니다. 칼슘 의존적 세포 접착에 관여할 수 있으며, 당화된 형태로 존재합니다. 생쥐의 상동 단백질은 리소좀에 위치하며, 대체 스플라이싱으로 여러 전사체 변형이 발생합니다. 또한 염색체 8에 관련된 유사유전자가 존재합니다.
