Target Information
MIA3는 COPII-coated vesicles에 적합하지 않은 대형 cargo의 수송에 관여하는 단백질로, endoplasmic reticulum에서 membrane-bound carrier로의 수출에 필요한 특수 메커니즘을 담당합니다.
COL7A1의 분비에 필수적이며, Sec23/24와 결합하여 COL7A1을 carrier에 적재하는 과정에 관여합니다.
일반적인 단백질 분비에는 관여하지 않으며, COL7A1 및 lipoprotein 분비에 특화되어 있습니다.
또한 COPII coat 구성 요소의 조립 및 SEC16A, MIA2, PREB/SEC12 복합체의 ERES(localization)에 필요합니다.
