Target Information
ERCC1은 DNA 복구 과정에서 5’ 절단을 담당하는 구조 특이적 DNA 복구 엔도뉴클레아제의 비촉매 구성 요소입니다. SLX4와 함께 상호작용하여 교차결합(Interstrand Cross-link, ICL) 복구의 첫 단계를 수행하며, 세포주기 S 또는 G2 단계에서 발생하는 미처리된 DNA 손상 구조의 처리에 관여합니다. 또한 SLX4와 함께 DNA 이중가닥 절단의 상동 재조합 복구(HDR)에 필수적인 역할을 합니다. (출처: Uniprot)
