Target Information
RNP2는 조면소포체(rough endoplasmic reticulum)에만 존재하는 type I integral membrane protein입니다. 이 단백질은 N-oligosaccharyl transferase 복합체의 구성요소로서, nascent polypeptide chain의 Asn-X-Ser/Thr 모티프에 고만노스(high mannose) 올리고사카라이드를 결합시키는 역할을 합니다. 또한 yeast의 oligosaccharyl transferase subunit SWP1과 유사한 서열을 가집니다.
