Target Information
CD321 (F11R, JAM-1, JAM-A) is a cell-surface adhesion molecule belonging to the Ig superfamily of receptors.
It is a 32–41 kD glycoprotein with two extracellular Ig-like domains, a transmembrane region, and a short cytosolic tail.
CD321 forms homodimers and associates with other membrane proteins such as integrins.
Expressed on leukocytes, platelets, erythrocytes, stem cells, epithelial and endothelial cells.
Involved in cell-cell contact, epithelial/endothelial barrier maintenance, hematopoiesis, angiogenesis, and tumor proliferation, invasion, and metastasis.
