Target Information
MAP2K1 (MEK1) kinase는 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascade에서 작용하는 이중 특이성 단백질 키나아제로, 세포 성장과 분화를 조절합니다. 다양한 성장 인자와 cytokine, 막 탈분극 및 칼슘 유입에 의해 활성화되며, Raf1에 의해 serine 218과 222 위치의 인산화로 활성화됩니다. 스트레스 반응, apoptosis, cytokine 유도 증식 신호 전달에 관여하며, 유전자 변이는 cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome을 유발할 수 있습니다.
