- In direct ELISAs:
- <50% cross-reactivity with recombinant human GRO beta and GRO gamma
- <25% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse MIP-2
- <15% cross-reactivity with recombinant rat CINC-1, CINC-2 alpha, CINC-2 beta, rmKC, and rhIL-8
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg (LAL method).
Target Information
CXCL1, CXCL2, and CXCL3 (also known as GRO alpha, GRO beta, and GRO gamma) are members of the CXC chemokine subfamily.
These proteins bind with high affinity to the IL-8 receptor type B and act as potent neutrophil attractants and activators.
Processed forms GRO-alpha(4–73), GRO-alpha(5–73), and GRO-alpha(6–73) exhibit ~30-fold higher chemotactic activity.
