Target Information
GIT1 is a GTPase-activating protein for the ADP-ribosylation factor family. It may act as a scaffold to assemble signaling modules involved in vesicle trafficking, adhesion, and cytoskeletal organization. GIT1 enhances cell migration and promotes formation of cellular protrusions, potentially by targeting PAK1 to adhesions and the leading edge of lamellipodia.
