Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The GGPS1 gene encodes a geranylgeranyl diphosphate (GGPP) synthase, an enzyme that catalyzes the synthesis of GGPP from farnesyl diphosphate and isopentenyl diphosphate.
GGPP is essential for C20-prenylation of proteins and regulation of nuclear hormone receptors.
Alternate transcriptional splice variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
