Target Information
PACS2는 다기능적 단백질 분류 조절 단백질로, 소포체(ER)와 미토콘드리아 간의 상호작용을 조절합니다. 이는 ER 항상성 유지 및 세포자멸사(apoptosis) 유도 시 BIB 단백질의 미토콘드리아 이동을 매개하여, 미토콘드리아 BID 절단, cytochrome c 방출, caspase-3 활성화를 유도하여 세포 사멸을 초래합니다. 또한 PACS2는 이온 채널 트래픽킹에도 관여하여 산성 클러스터를 포함하는 이온 채널을 특정 세포소기관으로 이동시키는 기능을 수행할 수 있습니다.
