Product Specific Information
The HI30 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of human CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA). CD45 is expressed by all hematopoietic cells except erythrocytes and platelets. It functions as a tyrosine phosphatase and plays an important role in lymphocyte activation.
- Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
- Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and validated on normal human peripheral blood cells
- Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test in 100 µL final volume (cell number 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)
Brilliant Violet™ 480 (BV480) emits at 479 nm and is intended for use on cytometers equipped with a violet (405 nm) laser. Ensure instrument compatibility before use.
When using multiple Brilliant Violet™ or polymer dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.
Note: BV480 is not compatible with methanol-based fixation.

Target Information
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, representing about 10% of lymphocyte surface proteins. It regulates Src-family kinases, antigen receptor signaling, and cytokine receptor pathways. CD45 isoforms arise from alternative splicing and differ in extracellular domains, influencing cell-type-specific expression and function. It is essential for T- and B-cell signaling, cell survival, and immunological regulation.
