Target Information
AKT1 (PKB alpha)는 세린/트레오닌 키나아제로서 세포 생존을 조절합니다. 활성화된 효소는 다양한 세포 유형, 특히 암세포에서 여러 표적 단백질을 인산화하여 세포자멸사를 억제하고 세포주기 진행을 촉진합니다. 인슐린, PI3K, IGF1 및 기타 성장·생존 인자에 의해 활성화되며, 포크헤드 전사인자 및 caspase-9 등의 인산화를 통해 세포 생존을 촉진합니다. AKT 경로는 암 치료제 개발의 주요 타깃 중 하나입니다.
