Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Poly ADP-Ribose Polymerase (PARP) uses nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (oxidized form, NAD) as a substrate to catalyze the transfer of ADP-ribose to various nuclear protein acceptors.
Proteolysis of PARP to its stable 85 kDa fragment is an early marker of apoptosis and is mediated by caspase CPP32. Cleavage occurs between Asp216 and Gly217, a site conserved across species.
