Target Information
CAMK4 (CaMKIV)는 serine/threonine protein kinase로 CREB, oncoprotein 18, SRF를 인산화합니다. 림프구, 신경세포, 정자세포 등에서 전사 조절에 관여하며, 핵 내 위치를 통해 칼슘 의존적 유전자 발현을 매개합니다. 특히 신경세포에서는 시냅스 가소성에, T-세포에서는 NFAT 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. CaMKIV는 calspermin과 함께 CaMKIV 유전자에 의해 인코딩되며, 정소의 생식세포에서 chromatin과 결합되어 핵 응축 과정의 chromatin remodeling에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
