PIP5K1A (phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 5-kinase 1 alpha)는 phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate를 인산화하여 phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate를 형성하는 lipid kinase입니다.
PIP5K1A는 Wnt3a에 의해 유도되는 LRP6의 ser1490 위치 인산화에 필수적이며, Wnt3a는 frizzled 및 disheveled 경로를 통해 PIP5KI를 활성화시킵니다.
또한 PIP5K1A에 의한 PIP(2) 생성은 HIV-1의 세포 진입 및 초기 감염 단계에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
Wild-type PI4P5K1A의 과발현은 HIV-1 Env 매개 PIP(2) 생성을 증가시키며, 1차 림프구에서 바이러스 복제를 촉진합니다.
