Target Information
Anti-Hamster secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for hamster immunoglobulins. They are useful in the detection, sorting, or purification of their specified targets. Secondary antibodies provide increased versatility for multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and greater sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, these antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
