Target Information
FLT3 (Fms-like tyrosine kinase 3) is a receptor tyrosine kinase belonging to the growth factor receptor family. Upon binding of its ligand, FLT3 undergoes homodimerization and autophosphorylation, activating downstream signaling pathways that regulate apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic cells in bone marrow. Constitutive activation of FLT3 due to mutations is associated with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
