The Human VE-Cadherin Simplex ProcartaPlex Kit measures VE-cadherin protein and is designed to be combinable with other Simplex kits to create customized multiplex panels utilizing Luminex xMAP technology for protein detection and quantitation.

• Only one buffer kit (Cat. No. EPX010-10420-901) is required per assay plate regardless of plex size.

ProcartaPlex Assay 특징

ProcartaPlex immunoassays are based on sandwich ELISA principles, using two highly specific antibodies binding to different epitopes of one protein to quantitate targets simultaneously via a Luminex instrument.

ProcartaPlex assays utilize Luminex xMAP (multianalyte profiling) technology for simultaneous detection and quantitation of up to 80 protein targets in a single 25–50 μL sample from plasma, serum, cell culture supernatants, and other bodily fluids.

기술 개요

The Luminex MagPlex superparamagnetic microsphere beads are dyed with red and infrared fluorophores to create 100 unique spectral signatures identifiable by Luminex detection systems (Luminex 200, FLEXMAP 3D, MAGPIX).

Each bead is conjugated with antibodies specific for a single protein target. Bound proteins are detected using biotinylated antibodies and streptavidin–R-phycoerythrin (RPE).
Unlike traditional ELISA, ProcartaPlex assays use magnetic beads as capture antibody carriers, allowing reagents to remain free-floating in solution.
Detection is performed by dual lasers—one distinguishing bead identity and the other quantifying RPE fluorescence proportional to protein concentration.
