Target Information
ARPC1A is one of seven subunits of the human Arp2/3 protein complex. This subunit belongs to the SOP2 family and is most similar to ARPC1B. Both may function as the p41 subunit of the Arp2/3 complex, which regulates actin polymerization. The p41 subunit likely contributes to assembling and maintaining the Arp2/3 complex structure, with possible variations adapting its function across cell types or developmental stages.
