Target Information
PYCRL은 pyrroline-5-carboxylate reductase 효소 계열에 속하는 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 효소 계열은 프로린 생합성의 마지막 단계를 촉매하여 pyrroline-5-carboxylate를 프로린으로 전환합니다. 글루탐산과 오르니틴은 프로린 합성의 전구체로 작용하며, PYCRL 단백질은 세포질 내에서 오르니틴으로부터 프로린을 합성하는 데 관여합니다.
