Description

This unique design completely encloses any LC analytical column up to 25 cm in length.
Two heater jacket lengths are available:

• Short column holder: accommodates columns up to 10 cm
• Long column holder: accommodates columns up to 25 cm

The control module provides optimum heating performance, accuracy within ±1 °C, and stability within 0.1 °C.
The new Sidewinder controller features fast 10 Hz sampling for improved responsiveness and RS232 control for external programming.

All Sidewinder temperature control products carry the globally recognized CE mark and comply with electromagnetic emission standards of the EU, U.S., and Canada.

Power Requirements

All Sidewinder heater and heater/cooler units use a 24 VDC input generated from a universal power supply included with each unit.
A U.S. mains cable is provided to connect the power supply to a standard outlet.

For use outside the U.S.
A standard outlet plug adaptor must be purchased separately (not available from Restek).

Temperature Stability Note

Avoid temperature fluctuations—even small ones.
A 1 °C change can alter retention values by up to 3%, potentially affecting data accuracy, especially in gradient analyses.
If your instrument is near an air conditioning or heating vent, isolate your column using a temperature jacket or insulation.
