• Lyophilized antibody should be reconstituted with deionized water (or equivalent) to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.
• Recommended dilutions:
  • Sandwich ELISA: 0.5–2 µg/mL
  • Competitive ELISA: 1–10 µg/mL
• Lyophilized product stability: up to 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt.
• After reconstitution:
  • 2–3 weeks at 2–8°C
  • Up to 12 months at -20°C or below
• Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Target Information

Ixekizumab is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody targeting interleukin-17A (IL-17A), preventing its interaction with the IL-17A receptor.
IL-17A is a pro-inflammatory cytokine involved in immune responses and inflammation. Blocking IL-17A activity is beneficial in autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and plaque psoriasis.
Ixekizumab is produced by recombinant DNA technology in mammalian cells and purified using standard bioprocessing methods.
The molecule consists of two identical light chains (219 amino acids each) and two identical heavy chains (445 amino acids each), with an approximate molecular weight of 146,158 Daltons.
It is indicated for treatment of moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis in adults who are candidates for systemic therapy or phototherapy.
