Target Information
Semaphorins are a large family of secreted and membrane-associated proteins involved in axon pathfinding, fasciculation, branching, and target selection.
All semaphorins possess a semaphorin (Sema) domain and a PSI domain in the N-terminal extracellular region.
SEMA6D is a class 6 transmembrane semaphorin that exhibits alternative splicing. Six transcript variants have been identified, with tissue- and development-dependent expression patterns.
