Target Information
Microtubules constitute one of the major components of eukaryotic cell cytoskeleton and are involved in essential processes such as cell division, ciliary and flagellar motility, and intracellular transport. They are composed of a heterodimer of α- and β-tubulin. In addition to these, several other tubulins have been identified, resulting in seven distinct tubulin classes with diverse subcellular localizations and functions.
