Target Information
TTLL12 (tubulin tyrosine ligase-like family, member 12) is a 644 amino acid protein containing one TTL domain. Among the fourteen TTLL family members that modify tubulin, TTLL12 is the least characterized. It is highly expressed in metastatic prostate cancer cell lines and considered a potential target for tumor therapy. Overexpression may alter chromosome ploidy, whereas downregulation affects post-translational modifications of tubulin.
