Description
The Restek Ultra IBD column is part of Restek’s Ultra line, which offers a broad selection of stationary phases on a single silica support. Constructed from high-purity, type-B silica, these columns minimize surface activity and provide high-density bonding for selective and reliable HPLC performance.
The IBD column features a unique polar-embedded group that acts as a strong hydrogen bonder, offering excellent retention and selectivity for acids while maintaining symmetrical peak shapes for strong bases. It supports both reversed-phase and HILIC conditions, enabling retention of very polar and ionic compounds even in highly organic mobile phases.
