Stock solutions can be prepared at 50–100 µg/mL in appropriate sterile buffer. A carrier protein such as 0.2–1% BSA or HSA may be added when preparing the stock solution.
Target Information
MIG, also known as CXCL9, is a T-cell chemoattractant inducible by gamma interferon and belongs to the CXC chemokine family. The gene is mapped to 4q21.
Chemokines are known not only for their chemotactic activity but also for effects on T-cell activation, angiogenesis, and HIV infection.
Unlike most CXC chemokines that attract neutrophils, MIG and INP10 are unique in being chemotactic for lymphocytes and inactive in neutrophils.
