Target Information
Adenylyl cyclase-associated protein 1 (CAP1) is an enzyme encoded by the CAP1 gene in humans, located on chromosome 1p34.2.
The protein is homologous to the S. cerevisiae CAP protein involved in the cyclic AMP pathway and can interact with CAP2 and actin.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified.
