Target Information
The protein encoded by the SCTR gene is a G protein-coupled receptor belonging to the glucagon-VIP-secretin receptor family. It binds secretin, a key regulator of pancreatic bicarbonate, electrolyte, and volume secretion. Secretin and its receptor have been implicated in pancreatic cancer and autism.
