Target Information
B1AJX8 (HEPH)은 mouse에서 발견되는 철 운반 단백질과 유사합니다. 이 단백질은 ceruloplasmin과 유사한 serum multi-copper ferroxidase로, 장 상피 세포에서 혈액 순환계로 식이 철을 운반하는 막 결합 단백질로 추정됩니다. Mouse에서 이 유전자의 결함은 심한 소적혈구성 빈혈을 유발할 수 있습니다. 이 유전자는 서로 다른 isoform을 암호화하는 두 가지 전사 변형체를 가지고 있습니다.
