Target Information
FBXL11 is a member of the F-box protein family, characterized by an approximately 40 amino acid motif called the F-box. These proteins form part of the ubiquitin protein ligase complex known as SCFs (SKP1-cullin-F-box).
F-box proteins are divided into three classes:
- Fbws – containing WD-40 domains
- Fbls – containing leucine-rich repeats
- Fbxs – containing other protein-protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs
FBXL11 belongs to the Fbls class, featuring an F-box and at least six highly degenerated leucine-rich repeats.
