Target Information
NR0B2 encodes an orphan nuclear receptor lacking a conventional DNA-binding domain but containing a ligand-binding domain. It interacts with retinoid, thyroid, and estrogen receptors, inhibiting their ligand-dependent transcriptional activation. The protein represses nuclear hormone receptor-mediated transactivation through competition with coactivators and direct transcriptional repression.
