Product Specific Information
This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.
Advantages of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies:
- Improved specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulation
- Broader immunoreactivity due to the rabbit immune repertoire
This antibody has specificity for Human LILRB3.
Target Information
The LILRB3 gene belongs to the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LIR) family, located on chromosome 19q13.4. The encoded protein is a member of the subfamily B class of LIR receptors, containing two or four extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane domain, and two to four cytoplasmic immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIMs).
This receptor is expressed on immune cells and binds to MHC class I molecules on antigen-presenting cells. It transduces a negative signal that inhibits immune stimulation, helping to regulate inflammatory responses and cytotoxicity, thus maintaining immune balance and preventing autoreactivity.
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
