Target Information
CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and contains two Ig-like domains. It is expressed on 100% of peripheral B cells and is also found on certain myeloid leukemia cells, particularly of monocytic lineage. CD19 serves as a functional regulator of B cell proliferation and differentiation, acting as a signal-amplifying coreceptor for the B cell receptor (BCR). Mutations in CD19 can lead to hypogammaglobulinemia, while overexpression may result in B cell hyperactivity.
