Target Information
NME4 is a protein kinase that transfers phosphate groups from ATP to substrate proteins, playing a key role in signal transduction in eukaryotic cells. It regulates cellular metabolism, transcription, cell cycle progression, cytoskeletal rearrangement, cell movement, apoptosis, and differentiation. The kinase family includes over 500 gene products and is classified into 8 major groups based on catalytic domain sequences.
