Target Information
GLB1L3 (beta-galactosidase-1-like protein 3)는 glycosyl hydrolase 35 family에 속하는 653 아미노산 단백질입니다. 세 가지 alternative spliced isoform으로 존재하며 인간 염색체 11q25에 위치한 유전자에 의해 암호화됩니다. 염색체 11은 약 1,400개의 유전자를 포함하며, Atm 유전자는 DNA 손상 후 세포 주기 정지와 세포사 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. Atm 변이는 ataxia-telangiectasia를 유발하며, Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome, Jacobsen syndrome, Niemann-Pick disease, hereditary angioedema, Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome 등도 염색체 11의 결함과 관련되어 있습니다.
