CDK2/cyclinO는 CyclinO와 복합체를 형성하는 cyclin-dependent protein kinase 계열의 단백질입니다. CyclinO는 UNG 유전자에서 유래하며 핵 내에서만 존재하며 uracil-DNA glycosylase 활성을 나타냅니다. CDK2/cyclinO 단백질은 세포주기 G1 단계에서 증가하며, cyclin A-cdk2 복합체는 G1/S 전이 시점에서 최고 수준에 도달합니다. Rb 단백질은 cdk2-cyclin E 또는 cdk2-cyclin A의 기질로 작용하며, Cdk2는 G1, S, G2 단계에서 핵 내에 특이적으로 위치합니다.
