Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on the sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. Centrifuge antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the polycystin protein family. The encoded protein contains multiple transmembrane domains and cytoplasmic N- and C-termini. It may function as an integral membrane protein involved in cell-cell/matrix interactions, renal tubular development, morphology, and function.
It may modulate intracellular calcium homeostasis and other signal transduction pathways. This protein interacts with polycystin 1 to produce cation-permeable currents. Mutations in this gene are associated with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease.
